We will miss Sunzu – Coach Janza

Zambia coach Honour Janza says they will miss injured captain Stopilla Sunzu for the team’s final two 2015 AFCON qualifiers.

The defender is expected to miss Zambia’s penultimate 2015 Africa Cup Group F qualifier away to Mozambique this Saturday in Maputo due to injury.

Sunzu sustained a hamstring injury last Friday while in French Ligue 2 action for Sochaux in their 2-1 home win over Ajaccio before he limped off in the 64th minute.

“It is usually not good to miss any of the players you have called especially when it has to do with an injury,” Janza said after Wednesday training in Lusaka.

“Because it is not only painful to the team but painful to the player as well. I am sure he would love loved to finish the qualifiers with us.

“We wish him a quick recovery so that he can be with us in the next assignments.”
