UPND press briefing; Miles Sampa is not prudent, over ambitious and coward

Miles Sampa calls himself as one of the founder members of PF, but I don’t understand his claim, because nothing is heard of him until about 2010. Miles used to work for Finance Bank in-charge of the Treasury. If you are looking for the link between Sata and Rajan Mahtani, this could be it – Miles Sampa.

If you have been wondering where Sata used to get inside info which led to Mahtani getting back Finance Bank after RB, through Bank of Zambia, took over, ask Miles Sampa he could have those answers.

If you have been looking for the funder of Miles Sampa’s political activities, check Dr. Mahtani, he could help solve your puzzle. However, Dr. Mahtani was spotted in the corridors of PF recently and he could be doing better business with the current President other than a Presidential hopeful in faded orange.

Don’t think I am disparaging Miles, on the contrary, I am giving an account of his successes.

While little is known about his political activities before 2010/2011, Miles has become very popular in our Zambian politics. This tells you that, he knows how to sell himself. You could say, that he used the name of his uncle Sata, but look at Mulenga Sata. Miles, in spite of not having the name Sata on his NRC, he is more applauded than the heir of Sata.

Miles also knows how to push for what he wants, otherwise he would not have gotten money out of Bank of Zambia for unlawful dismissal when BOZ fired him out of Finance Bank, it would have been more difficult for Mahtani to get back his bank, among many other achievements.

The problem with Miles is prudence, over ambitious and cowardice.

Prudence simply means doing the right thing, in the right manner and the right time. Miles jumbles up the 3 Rs due to his over ambitions.

Blinded by his ambitions, at times he does things very wrongly, at a wrong time. If you want an example of that, think of how he wanted to grab the PF Presidency while the corpse of Sata was still laying at Mulungushi conference.

Cowardice is not only seen in someone running away, but in desperate actions to come out of a problem.

A person who doesn’t know how to swim and he is scared of dying, he pants and throws around his hands and legs (desperate actions). To on-lookers they might think the person is swimming and yet he is exhausting himself to death.

Miles panics when things backfire on him or when he feels threatened, this is why I read the stories of Ruth Mbandu with interest on social media.

I tend to wonder what a person like Miles Sampa, would do if a young girl informed him that she was pregnant for him, whilst he is married and has a political career to save. But those are just running thoughts in my head, this case is in court, however, I pray that it could be properly investigated one day.

My intelligence, (thanks to KZ) tells me the panic mode of some people on the loose but connected to some murder case. I am told they are looking for a way to shut me up like they way they have done to this boy who mascaraeded as a boyfriend to Ruth Mbandu.

But I told my young man KZ not to panic, I don’t panic because I live one day at a time, the rest is up to God, today we are here tomorrow we are gone. What is important is that you do the right thing otherwise even your own shadow becomes your enemy.

In any case if you want an example of Miles’ cowardice, look at his desperation to belong to some alliance of some sort. He doesn’t seem to have a strong mind of being a man of himself and fight. He is always going to others for his security and fights.

He belonged to PF, but used Guy Scott and Masebo to fight for Presidency, on the sideline of that, he used others to form DF which has backfired. DF was not enough to fight Edgar Lungu, he went to Chipimo and Eric Chanda, that did not work so he has now gone to UPND and HH. Miles can’t stand on his own, he is a coward.

Miles could learn to be brave by starting with me, face me directly other than talking to others because it will backfire. A number of times I have called Miles to give him my opinion until he stopped picking my calls like Given Lubinda, they are cowards.

Miles can’t claim that PF is bad because of Edgar. Miles is just ambitious but his cowardice prevent him from facing Edgar and others to prove that he is a better leader to take the mantle of PF.

PF does not belong to Edgar or Kambwili or any other senior member, it belongs to all the PF members including the young man Kaisa Sulu (if he wants he can also vie for Presidency, why not).

I know others may accuse me of attacking the personality of Miles, but hey, you bring your personality to politics which can make you succeed or fail. From my point of view, the personality of Miles is making fail unless he changes.
