PF has continue to stripe off the opposition UPND with it’s Councilors with the latest in Mufumbwe, North Western province where another Councilor has join the ruling party.

PF has confirmed the development in a press release below by it’s media Director Sunday Chanda.

Mufumbwe, 31st July, 2018 –
United Party for National Development (UPND) Mufumbwe’s Kelongwa Ward Councillor Mwanaumo Ronald has resigned from his position to join the PF. In the recent past, UPND Councillors from North-western, Southern and Western Provinces have complained of poor leadership in the opposition Party coupled by total neglect.

Announcing his resignation this afternoon together with other UPND officials from his ward, Mr Ronald Mwanaume sighted massive development and good leadership traits from President Edgar Chagwa Lungu as reasons for his resignation.

And receiving the new members NWP PF Chairman Mr Jackson Kungo said only the PF under President Lungu was capable of bringing meaningful development to NWP. He clarified that all those that were joining the Party were doing so out of their free will and challenged the UPND to state the cost of buying any of their former members as they claimed.

The UPND is coming from a humiliating defeat when they managed to only scoop one (1) out of thirteen (13) by-elections held across the Country. The past few months have also UPND structures in North-western and Western Provinces moving to PF.

  1. Perhaps it’s time UPND thinks of changing direction and leadership.

  2. This is just a tip of the iceberg. People cannot be taken for a ride too long. Southern province the so called strong hold is now the “clay” hold meanwhile the UPND leadership is sleeping. Viva PF!!!! I know what the grass roots are saying, VIVA PF!!!
