PF Govt won’t sink low to implicate UPND says Lungu

Minister of Home Affairs Edgar Lungu says the Patriotic Front government will not sink so low and fabricate documents to implicate the United Party for National Development (UPND).

Mr. Lungu in an interview has instead reminded the UPND how it politically engineered the removal of Miles Sampa from Southern province when he served as provincial minister.

He has observed that the UPND seems to be championing petty politics adding that the ministry of home affairs will not allow individuals with selfish political motives to cause confusion in the country.

Mr. Lungu has also warned the group calling itself Tongas under oath to desist from activities that have the potential to breach peace in the country.

He said government will not sit idle and allow individuals to destabilize the peace of the country.
