No easy road to Lungu’s 3rd term- OCIDA

Our Civic Duty Association (OCIDA) says it will fight hard to stop President Edgar Lungu from getting a third term.

The organization is accusing Lungu of rigging the 2021 elections through NRC registration and by selectively applying the Public Order Act, trying to bar his opponents from campaigning, while is busy on the ground canvassing for votes.

OCIDA chairperson Simon Zukas recently told News Diggers that Lungu’s rigging is full throttle, but his organisation is going to fight and make sure his third bid fails.

Zukas also accuses Lungu of trying to intimidate the Anti-Corruption Commission not to prosecute his ‘partners in crime.’

Zukas’ comments come at the time President Lungu is criss-crossing the country carrying out campaigns behind the banner of project inspections and launches.
