This morning HH had a press briefing and it was inspiring, such that I wished I could be next to him and hug him for the wonderful, mature, reasonable and progressive speech, says Chilufya Tayali who is Hakainde Hichilema’s critic.

Tayali who is President Lungu’s Supporter but poses as leader of a political party he calls EEP says he will now give respect to Hichilema.

This comes after a reported closed door meeting between President Lungu and Hichilema on 12th November 2018.

Tayali who has been dragged to court by Hichilema for criminal libel says he now wants to create peace with the UPND leader.

Below is Tayali’s ‘sweet’ message on HH and President Lungu:

We have been told that President Lungu and Hakainde met, but we have not been told for how long and what they discussed.

I have picked it from the grapevine, that, the two leaders actually met for over two hours and they discussed various issues like brothers.

After the meeting both leaders committed to the dialogue and reconciliation process without conditions.

Since that meeting a number of things have happened which has humbled me, particularly, coming from both leaders. Things which are not in public domain, but very progressive.

I have interacted with some of the PF and UPND members and they are so happy for the meeting.

President Lungu is also very happy and optimistic about the process.

Clearly, HH showed optimism to this process and I want to emulate him and respect him as my elder brother. I have always said HH, is much bigger than many of us small political leaders, therefore, I have to accord him that respect.

Of course I always respect President Lungu and his ministers, including Bowman Lusambo, so I have to behave accordingly for the good of this Country.

I am so inspired that I have asked I intend to have  press briefing at our offices, probably on Sunday, at 10:00hrs where I will make very serious pronouncements.

I want to show my two leaders, the Church and ZCID, that, I, and EEP, endorse this progressive process. 2019 must be different.
