United Party for National Development -UPND- leader Hakainde Hachilema’s first cousin, Wilfred Hichilema has joined the Patriotic Front.

Hichilema, who is from Namwala in Southern province, says he has decided to ditch the UPND and join PF because of its sound leadership under President Edgar Lungu.

Hichilema says the PF has transformed Zambia into a fast-developing nation with its infrastructure development agenda.

He was speaking during a media briefing in Lusaka today.

Hichilemafurther urged the people of Zambia not to trust his cousin leader Hakainde Hichilema with the Presidency.

Meanwhile, Hichilema said he is ready to work with the PF to ensure President Lungu wins with a landslide victory in next year’s general election.

And former UPND Namwala district youth chairperson Emmanuel Ilunga said the PF has delivered its economic development agenda according to peoples’ expectations. -znbc
