GBM wraps up CB, Luapula and Central Provinces campaing tour

United Party for National Development (UPND) Vice President and presidential running in the 2016 Elections Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba says the ruling Patriotic Front stands no chance in winning this years’ election.

Mwamba claims his party has made serious in roads in what used to be called PF Strongholds such as Copperbelt, Luapula, Northern and Muchinga provinces.

Speaking at Serenje Kaunda Square Grounds on Wednesday when he concluded his Copperbelt, Luapula and Central Provinces campaign tour, the opposition leader said the entire country has resolved to support the UPND because of what he termed increasing poverty levels.

Mr. Mwamba has described his tour successful believing that people have taken heed of his party’s Ten Point Plan Campaign manifesto he and his team championed in their course of duty.

And UPND National Trustee and a member of Mwamba’s campaign team, Bernard Mpundu, has called on former Republican President Kenneth Kaunda and other remaining freedom fighters to advise President Edgar Lungu to stop the violence going on in the country.

The former diplomat said if President Lungu could tame his cadres, the country will see a peaceful, free and fair election come August this year.
