Political nomad Chanda quits Kambwili’s NDC

NDC Spokesperson Eric Chanda has with immediate effect resigned from the party.

Chanda who of late has been quite recently said that he was on leave reflecting on his political life.

He once served as PF youth leader before quiting to join Frank Bwalya who had just formed Alliance for Better Zambia (ABZ) which did not last.

Chanda then formed his own party (4th Republic) which went into a short-lived alliance with Elias Chipimo’s NAREP and Miles Sampa’s party in the run up to 2016 general elections.

He then abandoned his party to join Chishimba Kambwili’s NDC where he was handed the spokesperson portfolio.

Chanda has not given the reason for his decision but thanked the NDC leadership for according him the opportunity to serve the party.

When ditching the PF Chanda who carries himself as a so a socialist said the PF has abandoned it’s pro-poor agenda under which it was formed and voted into government in 2011.
