It is disturbing that Zimbabwe is failing to fight malaria which is detectable, preventable and treatable.

The swamps and tipping of wet garbage in forests is promoting the breed of mosquito which is causing series malaria outbreak in Mashonaland West region of Zimbabwe.

Despite election promises to reform the healthcare sector, the ZANU PF government is failing to reduce the numbers of deaths caused by malaria.

Zimbabweans hoped that after Mugabe, President Emmerson Mnangagwa was going to drastically improve healthcare system and reduce significantly the number of deaths caused by malaria.

It is now 3 years after the ousting of Mugabe and Zimbabwe is still stagnant if not worst in terms of reducing deaths caused by malaria.
