Zambia’s flag bearers in the 2015 Caf Champions League Zesco United have progressed to the first round of the competition following a 1-0 victory over Mbabane Swallows in the preliminary round second leg played at Mwanawasa Stadium on Saturday.
Justin Zulu who was on target in the 1-1 draw played a fortnight ago broke the deadlock on 28 minutes to score the only goal of the second leg.
Zesco United advance 2-1 on aggregate and will play the winner of the tie between AS Kaloum (Guinea) and Sewe Sport (Cote d’Ivoire) in first round.
Zesco will be at home in first leg scheduled for the weekend of 13-15 March while the second leg will be played during the weekend of 3-5 April.
