Sloo Beats joins Stanbic Music Festival 2026 line-up as countdown to showcase begins

The country’s premier or biggest music festival is turning up the heat with another local heavyweight in the Zambian entertainment sector added to the bill.

Open-format DJ, producer and artist Sloo Beats, real name Subilanga Kitalima, has been confirmed for the Stanbic Music Festival 2026, organisers announced this week.

“SLOO BEATS joins the SMF2026 lineup. Smooth selection, heavy dancefloor pressure — a solid addition to a line up that is still filling out,” the festival said in a statement.

Sloo Beats will perform alongside international headliner Jason Derulo on October 3, 2026 at Polo Field A, Lusaka Showgrounds.

He joins previously announced acts DJ Sly and Marlon on a bill that promises live music and cultural performances.

“On 3rd October, Jason Derulo joins Zambia’s biggest names on the Stanbic Music Festival stage for an unforgettable celebration of music, culture and entertainment,” organisers said.

Now in its latest edition, SMF has grown into Zambia’s premier music and lifestyle event, drawing a premium audience alongside thousands of music lovers from across the region.

“It’s a rare opportunity to put your brand in front of an affluent, high-value crowd in a moment they’ll remember,” the organisers noted, as they opened Platinum, Silver and Bronze sponsorship opportunities for a select group of brands.

Tickets for SMF2026 are already on sale through Tessera.

With more acts still to be announced, festival-goers can expect a full day of sound, style and stage production as Stanbic Music Festival cements its place as the highlight on Zambia’s entertainment calendar.
