Sesheke Central MP Romeo Kangombe convicted, sentence reserved

The Chinsali magistrate Court has convicted United Party for National Development (UPND) Sesheke Central Member of Parliament Romeo Kangombe on a charge of assault, but acquitted him on the charge of abduction.

Meanwhile, sentencing has been reserved for Monday April 12th 2021 and he has since been remanded at Chinsali state correctional facility.

This is in a case where he stood charge with assaulting and abducting two police officers in Lavushimanda in October last year.
