Opinion: It’s game over for Lungu and PF

The formation of the Orange Alliance and it’s meaning :- As the nation draws closer to the 11/8 general election under the amended constitution that has electoral clauses like 50%+1 and Presidential running mate,the political landscape is seeing realignment in readiness for elections and political players have started repositioning themselves,with the latest being the formation of a break away Democratic Party led by former Commerce deputy Minister Miles Sampa.

Call them Northern small boys all you can, they will work like ants  killing their prey by attacking and bitting  where it kills in this case someone politically dies by giving him a bite from northern. The formation of Democratic Front -DF by Miles Sampa without doubt puts the ruling PF in a political awkward position and Patriotic Front and President Lungu as well as their supporters know this, this is the reason why PF through its Coppperbelt leadership hired thugs to spearhead the blocking of the DF launch at Moba Hotel.

Ladies and gentlemen, the latest announced electoral alliance comprising the newly formed baby on the market Democratic Front led by Miles Sampa , Fourth Revolution led by Eric Chanda and National Restoration Party led by Ellias Chipimo called ORANGE ALLIANCE that sees Eric Chanda being Alliance National Secretary and Spokesperson ,Chipimo (since he looks like an old man fondly refered to as “this young oldman by late Sata) being National Chairman and Miles Sampa to be President , this should not be underated by anybody especially the ruling PF. As these small boys are full blown electoral spoilers .

Patriotic Front has a reason although out of deceptive and selfishness for crying out loud for a PACT with the former ruling Party MMD hence sending a text message to its leader Dr Nevers Mumba confessed by President Lungu that , PF alone can’t win elections as such PF needs MMD to win. Only God knows how Lungu and his supporters feel after listening to Dr Mumba rubbishing possibilities of entering into an a PACT wit PF. I guess their BP levels are at their highest.

Lungu should be allowed to express his alleged fears and he should be allowed to give his public confessions because its getting hotter in the kitchen and the water pot he has been put ,he suspects the water might start boiling as the temperature levels are increasing and now he is looking for the source of the heat. Below is why Lungu is in hot soup and the 2016 elections seem to be sliding towards the opposition.

We all know that late Michael Sata left PF strong in Coppoerbelt with massive support from.the miners,capital Lusaka  and the bembaland blanketed as Luapula , Muchinga and Northern with a good command in midlands which is Central Zambia ,in these Provinces PF would be going to elections knowing they have above 85% votes from each . But from the previous election of 20th January 2015, the Party has shown dismal performance with a clear loss of votes on the copperbelt ,Lusaka and midlands as well as a lost zeal and upbeat for voting on the northern Zambia that characterised that computed poor voter turn out in that election with gracious voters giving good numbers to the opposition UPND courtesy of GBM and other political figures who originate from those Provinces that threw their support behind the opposition.

Today, with Lungu’s poor performance in the last election in previously PF strongholds, the man suffered a fatal blow.

Most political parties that are active are led by leaders who hail from Northern Zambia. FDD with councillors in Luapula and Northern originates from formerly Northern now Nakonde under Muchinga she appeals well that side.

MMD led by Dr Nevers Mumba he hails from Kasama in Northern he appeals more in that part of Zambia, fast warded ORANGE ALLIANCE a formation of three (3) Parties, 4R led by Eric Chanda,  NAREP led Ellias Chipimo and DF led by Miles Sampa a break away from PF and appeals from PF membership all the three (3) are northern boys and they have a strong message for their relatives too. RAINBOW may not necessarily be led by a northerner but Wynter Kabimba formed it as a break away from Patriotic Front meaning it appeals from PF membership.

All these parties and leaders are in what is now called SCRAMBLE FOR a NORTHERN VOTE as their leaders go to the northern Zambia feel they are in the land of their feet, the land on which their umbilical codes were buried and the land where their ancestors are buried and they point at them during campaigns. PF and Lungu’s bedroom has been encroached by intruders and Lungu can’t do anything . The days President Lungu goes to appeal for loyalty in bembaland he will find the Opposition UPND Vice President Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba -GBM playing sojo and insolo with his family the Bashi Lubemba as they thank him (GBM) for resigning from Government as Minister to fight for his Uncle’s installation Henry Kanyanta Sosala as Chitumukulu ……as Lungu will be arriving, one old man will whisper to others ” this one coming was Home Affairs Minister during the time of our persecution and he is the one who was sending Police to beat us” then others will node in agreement and give him (Lungu ) a smile of welcome with dropped eye blows.

Lungu will know from this day that, his mission is an exercise in futility, his god father will try to comfort him that Eastern is their, quickly reality of failed agriculture policies will hit his mind knowing Copperbelt is a non starter as miners who lost jobs have no money in their pockets but pockets have voters cards. Lusaka even a spelling and name PF is being hated on the streets and households due to high cost of living, loadsheding will be worse as a Bishop PS’s prayers do not reach the heavens but end on the fouth floor of FINDECO and the the Bokosi will be too soft to attract any meaningful investments in energy sector for power generation, food shortages due to the exportations and delayed transportations of imported maize from South America.

As things stand PF and Lungu are desperate, look into their eyes, listen to their statements and their aggression towards opponents, you clearly see desperation in their eyes and a desperate team is capable of anything and attempts to rig becomes their next resort. PF as a Party are like a drowning fisherman who even thinks a floating piece of shit would serve him if only he reached where it is. They are watching their death approaching, where do they run to for survivor? If they retreat they will find Fred M’membe and Hakainde are having a cup of tea while Kabimba forms branches to contest as MP in Shibuyunji .

THEN WE ALL KNOW THE NEXT DAY A NEW GOVERNMET WILL BE GIVEN A 54% VOTE MANDATE AND ZAMBIA WILL BE BACK ON TRACK AS AFRICA’S FOOD BASKET AND ECONOMIC HUB.
