Mwense PF Council Chairperson murdered

Patriotic Front (PF) Mwense Council Chairperson, Humphrey Kapapula has died.

Information coming through suggests that Kapapula was murdered in the early hours of today (Thursday).

It is allegedly that the murderers cut off his manhood before killing him and dumped the body near Palmwood Lodge in Mwense.

The PF has confirmed the development and demands for justice in the statement below;

Statement: It is with an extremely heavy heart that I announce the untimely and painful death of Mr HUMPREY KAPAPULA, Council Chairperson for Mwense District who was found MURDERED today in Mwense.

I worked very closely with Mr Kapapula when he served as Lubwa Ward Councillor in Lusaka and his death is a big blow not only to the Patriotic Front and the people of Mwense District but to the entire nation; we have lost a vibrant and dedicated servant of the people.

The demise of Comrade Kapapula should invigorate all members of the Patriotic Front to soldier on as one united family.

We call upon the law enforcement agencies to thoroughly investigate the murder of Mr Kapapula and bring the culprits to book. We demand nothing but justice!

Our thoughts and prayers go to the Kapapula family, the Patriotic Front, the good people of Mwense and the entire nation on this very agonising loss.

May the soul of our dear comrade rest in eternal peace.
