Whichever way the PF will try to interpret it, the defection of Mulenga Sata is a serious haemorrhagical avalanche against the Party.

MULENGA Sata is not a “non factor” member of the PF for heaven’s sake. He is a Sata. That’s not ordinary for crying out aloud!

Further, he is a former Minister of State House, an institution President Lungu heads, and was until today the Provincial Minister of Lusaka Province, a Province that hosts the seat of Government which includes State House.

My question. How on earth would you call the defection of the son of the founder of the Governing Party, the former Minister inside the President’s ‘Bedroom’ (State House) and the current Minister of a Province that hosts the seat of Government and State House, a “non factor”? Are you kidding?

This is no ordinary action,it’s absolutely extraordinary by any measurement or standards.

We await the next move.

  2. It is an issue of grade 12 certificate. The watchdog talked about this on or around 23rd April. They new he did not have a grade 12 certificate. Personally I am not surprised. Yes indeed he may be a factor, but he has left because he has no grade 12 certificate. Period

  6. Data jr’s move speaks volumes of the inner turmoil in PF under lungusha. While some may say it is G12, there is more than meets the eye. Yes having G12 is desirable but is no guarantee of good leadership just as ECL has demonstrated. Despite having G12, ECL has faileď to provide effective leadership at several levels.

  10. I am sure that those that high jacked the PF could not predict the rate at which their actions would make some party faithfuls to flee from PF. Let us also be vigilant that the high jackers should not highjack some opposition parties though it looks like they have already highjacked FDD. and Madam Nawakwi.

  11. PF taken over by MMD are cries of people who are running to UPND. But can’t it be said that UPND has been taken over by PF as well? You have GBM, Sampa, Guy Scott and now Mulenga Sata all former PF running to UPND. Already I hear that there are cries that the Bemba Mambalas are surrounding HH. I do not know why people who go to UPND are singing this old song that the ideals of the original members of PF have been hijacked. Are they sure their ideals are going to be accepted in UPND? People should just move without any hullabaloo. We all know they have some issues in their suitcases which we will soon all come to know about. MMD members who are unhappy with Nevers should be free to either go to UPND or PF without any reprimand. Thats what democracy is all about. Same with PF members who are unhappy with the party they should choose wherever they want to go. 2016 is about 50 plus one. People are lining up with people of like mind. So stop this nonsense of saying this party has been hijacked by a particular group of people. Noone is believing such nonsense. Most are worried what September 2016 will look like.
