Mangango votes as UPND is kept busy in Ndola

HH, GBM, CK, with lawyers Keith Mweemba, Gilbert Phiri, Jack Mwiimbu and delegation on departure from KKIA to Ndola this morning.

The opposition UPND has been kept busy in Ndola where it’s leader was being questioned by the police while voting is taking place in Mangango constituency in Western province.

The people of Mangango started voting at 6AM to replace a UPND MP who died in a road accident.

The poll day is today when attention with the UPND is in Ndola today. UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema was being probed by the police and his Deputy Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba accompanied him.

A UPND insider has told Zambian Eye that the party has done little even in the run upto the voting day saying the PF may easily get the seat.

The PF has had republican Vice president Inonge Wina and President Lungu campaigning in the constituency.

The PF is likely to get it’s first seat in Western province as all the seats were won by the UPND with two going to the Independent candidates.
