President Tshisekedi with his counterpart Edgar Lungu

Zambian president Edgar Lungu has confered with his counterpart, Felix Tshisekedi the new president of Congo DR.

And President Lungu has left Ethiopia for Zambia after attending the Africa Union Summit.

The meeting of the two leaders has been confirmed in a press statement below issued by Press Secretary at the Zambian Embassy in Ethiopia Inutu Mupango Mwanza:


Addis Ababa-10th February 2019

President Edgar Lungu has left Ethiopia for Zambia after attending the African Union 32 Ordinary Session of the Heads of State and Government Summit.

This is after he successfully addressed various meetings and held bilateral meeting with among others; United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, and DRC President Felix Thsisekedi.

President Lungu also signed the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCTC).

  1. Late this lazy bum, come back. So he met Tskedi,wow, how does it feel, after advising Congo to form national unit when it has failed in his back yard . Shame. Hopefully, he heard about corruption there zero tolerant . How about chitotela, we are watching on the balcony.
