KolaRodgers Kola’s brace on Saturday propelled Ironi Kiryat Shmona to victory to keep them at the top of the Israeli league table.

Kola scored in each half to hand Kiryat Shmona a 3-1 away win over Maccabi Haifa.

It was the fifth successive match that Kola has found the target scoring as many goals.

The 25-year-old Zambian striker opened scores in the 19th minute before his team mate Ofir Mizrachi put Kiryat Shmona 2-0 into halftime.

Kola made sure of the three points in stoppage time to see Kiryat Shmona maintain a three point lead on 28 points after twelve rounds of games played.

The Zambia striker takes his tally to seven goals from twelve games this season.

He will be hoping that his fine form for the Israeli side will earn him a call-up to Honour Janza’s Chipolopolo’s side ahead of the 2015 Africa Nations Cup tournament.
