The emergence of a photo showing former Finance Minister, Felix Mutati, former Foreign Affairs Minister and Democratic Party leader, Harry Kalaba and Lusaka lawyer, Kelvin Fube Bwalya seemingly to strategise on the future of the country, has gotten people talking.
Theories have come up, chief among them being a possible alliance, however, political commentator Elder Mabhunu says the opposition parties in the country should be very careful not to split the votes, thereby benefitting the same PF party they are purported to be fighting.
This comes on the background of another possible alliance between Chishimba Kambwili and Hakainde Hichilema, which believed to be more stronger in terms of popularity and support base.
Mabhunu says if team KBF, Mutati, Kalaba, is anything to go by, votes are going to be split, possibly benefitting the incumbent.
“I see two things here, Kalaba and team should have joined the bigger tent (Kambwili/ Hichilema) or act as aides to PF by doing it alone and split the votes,” he said.
