HH barred from flying to Copperbelt

The government has barred UPND leader Hakainde Hichilama (HH) from going to Copper belt for a yet to be disclosed reason.

HH was supposed to be in Kitwe today, attend the burial UPND Provincial Youth Chairman Ronald Mwansa Manenga died in road accident.

It is however, believed that the reason why he has been barred from visiting the area is because President Edgar Lungu is also in the same Province.

Hichilema has confirmed the development, saying it is true that he has been barred from visiting the Copperbelt.

“I’ve been blocked from flying out of Lusaka to the Copperbelt where we were scheduled to put to rest our provincial Youth Chairman, Bwalya Manenga.

“This is uncalled for! The corrupt PF regime and its dictator will soon be out of office,” he wrote on his microblog Twitter handle.
