COVID-19 deaths reach 900 mark

The number of COVID-19 deaths is now headed to the 9-hundred mark, following the 16 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours.

The are part of the 9-hundred and 60 COVID-19 new cases recorded during the same period.

Meanwhile, Lusaka province has also continued to record more cases of the contagious viral respiratory disease, than other provinces.

Health Minister, JONAS CHANDA has announced the new COVID-19 cases in a statement availed to ZNBC News.

The cumulative number of COVID-19 cases is now 63,573, while the mortalities have also increased to 869.

Meanwhile, Dr CHANDA says there are currently 6,375 active COVID-19 cases, with 399 under admission. ZNBC
