China State Construction workers protests over unpaid dues

More than 40 employees from China State Construction, also known as Tiambo Chinese Construction Company, have staged a protest over unpaid dues.

The workers are accusing the Labour Office and some local leaders of corruption regarding their unpaid gratuity claims which date back as far as five years.

Just a few months ago, another group of employees from the same company held a similar protest at the Mazabuka Labour Office, demanding the payment of their long-overdue gratuity.
