Zambia U20 Coach Hector Chilombo has named a provisional squad of 30 players for a residential training camp ahead of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) U-20 Championship to be hosted by Senegal from 8th to 22nd March.

The players will be based in Lusaka at the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Technical Centre in Lusaka and will hold their first training session on Friday, February 13 at Independence Stadium.

Team Manager Daniel Jere told fazfootball.com on Friday that the team will not break camp and that the final squad of 21 players is expected to be announced on March 4.

“We will hold our first training session at Independence Stadium on Friday afternoon. The playing surface at Independence Stadium is similar to the one at Caroline Faye Stadium where Zambia will play two Group B matches against Mali and Ghana.
