UPND president Hakainde Hichilema says he is not afraid of being arrested or being sent to prison, but adds that non of that would end the anger that the people are feeling against the government.

And Hichilema yesterday suffered social media ridicule after he refused to answer a question posed to him by Hot Fm breakfast show presenter Hope Chishala, demanding that he provides proof that ZAFFICO had been sold.

Chishala wanted to know why Hichilema said ZAFFICO had been sold to Chinese nationals when he featured on a Sun Fm radio show, further demanding to know if the opposition leader had incited the riot that rocked Kitwe earlier in the week.

But Hichilema kept insisting that he did not incite anybody to riot as PF officials were claiming.

“I did not incite anybody to riot, let’s state that very clear. My position is that I incited nobody to riot. What is true is that citizens are aware of what is going on in the country. They are aware of the ZNBC situation,” Hichilema told Hot FM.

Chishala kept pressing Hichilema for evidence that ZAFFICO had been sold, in an audio that was later circulated by the PF, portraying the opposition leader as having failed to to explain his allegations.

He later called News Diggers saying he knew the strategy that the PF government was using against him and he did not want to fall in their trap by answering questions from a sponsored journalist.

“I am way ahead of them. I know exactly what they are doing. I did not fail to answer the question around the sale of ZAFFICO. You I can tell you because you are truly an independent media. I know that they are using the listing of ZAFFICO on the stock exchange in order to facilitate the systematic take over by the Chinese. If you ask them today, which Zambians are going to buy the shares of ZAFFICO once it’s listed? People don’t have food to eat, they have no money to buy shares in ZAFFICO, so it’s them and their Chinese friends who will buy the shares and eventually remove it from the stock exchange, is that not a sale?” asked Hichilema.

Asked if he was scared of being arrested, Hichilema said he was not afraid because he was speaking for the people.

“No, we are not scared. When you speak for the people, when you represent the down trodden, you don’t front fear. If you front fear, you cannot do the work that we do, you cannot seek public office the way we do…but does that solve the problem if they arrest me? It will not end people’s anger. They should ask themselves, how many times will we arrest HH and other innocent people? They threw in [Obvious] Mwaliteta and his colleagues for one year, when they knew that he had not committed any crime. But they put them in filthy prisons. When a government begins to use force instead of listening to alternative voices, including the media, then you know that you are heading in the wrong direction. I think the PF are heading in the wrong direction,” Hichilema said.

“The best they can do is sit down and talk and see how all these issues can be resolved so that people can start having food in their homes and we can lower the tax burden…let them sit with us in a mature manner and discuss possible ways of saving the country from this collapse, the country is collapsed. I think that is the more honourable thing to do.”

He said he found it hard to find out to understand why the PF was blaming him for every thing wrong that was happening in the country as if he was the one governing.

“The PF have decided to take a frame that whenever something goes wrong and they fail to satisfy citizens, they blame HH. You are aware of those UNZA issue, they went there and basically killed Vespers Shimunzhila by tear gassing her room and then they blame HH as though HH is responsible for directing the police, as though HH is responsible for the things that are under their control,” he said.

“There are many other things they have blamed me for, the kwacha depreciation against the dollar, it’s HH to blame, I don’t know what else they will not blame me for. When they fail to deliver, it is HH. You cannot shift responsibility to someone who has no instruments, who has no apparatus of the state. I think at some point, we must call this bluff, it must come to an end and they must take responsibility. And we can help or advise, we have been advising. It is up to them to take that advise and save the country from where it is going. The country is hurting; we all know that. Does any citizen need HH to remind them that there are no jobs? Who said that there would be jobs? Who said that there would be lower taxes? It is them but look at the tax burden now.”

Asked if he felt like he was running the country given that he was blamed for everything that went wrong, Hichilema said; “What would you feel if you were in my shoes? Right now the rains are late, I will not be surprised if they say that the rains are delayed because of HH.”

  4. Hakainde’s sex Scandal – Charmaine Expecting HH’s Child in April next year.

It is now confirmed that Charmaine Musonda is four months pregnant and she is expected to give birth to HH’s child in April 2019.
The fury surrounding Hakainde’s relationship with Charmaine Musonda which has led to her pregnancy is distinct from many other Zambian sex scandals because it stems from the disturbing fact that Charmaine was the girlfriend of former UPND chilanga member of parliament Keith Mukata who was accused of disrespecting HH and UPND when he refused to support UPND’s motion of boycotting parliament.
The relationship between HH and Charmaine has caused so much anguish and pain in HH’s household such that some Church elders were sent to try and sort out the problem in HH’s house in new Kasama last week Wednesday the 7th of November.
The relation ship between HH and Charmaine casually started in 2016 when she wanted to contest the Chilanga seat. Things fail apart when Keith Mukata apologized to HH and UPND and rejoined them and it was decided then that it was a good idea to adopt Keith and not Charmaine as he was the seating MP and a well know figure in the area.
Charmaine was coped onto Mukata campaign team and she immediately started sleeping with him. Mukata’s weakness was money and so was Charmaine’s, for Mukata, spending carelessly was his problem while Charmaine’s the love for money was her thing. The two hit it on, drinking and dinning in high end restaurants and making overseas trips, it was a matter of time before Mukata’s house broke down.
The trouble was that Mukata was not trusted by UPND and even after returning to UPND, he was not entirely trusted and was placed on watch list. When some UPND members discovered the extramarital between Mukata and Charmaine, a plan was hatched to use her to get information on Mukata’s suspected shenanigans with politicians who were not UPND.
The problem started when HH insisted that she report to him directly. Their casual relationship escalated so quickly, such that they stated meting twice a week. One thing lead to another and the rest is history.
Charmaine being who she is, she saw the opportunity and she seduced HH and within a month they were meeting almost on a daily basis privately and HH eventually decided to rent her a house through her on Lagos road *(plot 3421)* where they started meeting and having sex.
The relation was well managed by the two of them and only become public knowledge after her adoption. Charmaine was promised the Chilanga seat in 2021, but as things turned out, the opportunity come quickly.
From around December 2016 up to the time she was arrested, she doubled as Mukata’s and HH girlfriend, sleeping with both men on regular intervals.
The sex relationship of HH and Charmaine was exposed when she was released from prison and UPND needed a candidate for Chilanga. Since HH was sleeping with her and they had a deal, he single handedly forced her candidature adoption on UPND even when his close advisers where against her.
As with all people who are sleeping with each other, it is difficult to hide the connection. Soon the sexual relationship of HH and Charmaine stated manifesting in the public domain, we could all see the looks, the stirring and the smiles. The chickens had come to roast, the public could not be fooled and it was clear for all to see that HH and Charmaine had a close relationship and they were very intimate. HH had never looked so happy in public, his guard was off and he unknowingly exposed himself.
Mutinta was tipped of the discovery and all hell broke loose, for about a month HH and his wife Mutinta were on a not speaking terms, this is the third time Mutinta caught her husband with a woman, and surprisingly, HH preference has always been colored girls. The first was *Melanie Stokes*, who is suspected to have gone out with HH for three years, from 2008 to 2010, he dropped her quickly as soon his campaign for political office escalated and he was advised that she might compromise his chances of wining.
To keep her out of his life, he bought her a House in Rhodes park Along Joseph Mwilwa road, for *UDS 295,000* then, which she has since rented out to an NGO. This house was paid for from his South Africa Bank Account No. *397 88 5050 240 (Standard Bank Account, held at centurion Branch).” This account is directly associated and liked to the company *Westlake Investment Ltd which is based Mauritius and where HH is a Director and partner.*
Prior to that, HH had another colored young girlfriend by the name of Mwangala Thorncroft who he sponsored to study in South Africa from 2005 to 2008. *Mwangala briefly worked as a receptionist Seedco Zambia Limited, where HH is also a Director*. It is believed Mwangala has since relocated to the USA.
Back to Charmaine, HH was so consumed with Charmaine’s charm that he failed to hide his emotions and was seen glowing in public, a thing that was rare to see of HH. Family meetings were held but HH was adamant that there was no relationship between him and Charmaine until Mutinta and her connections, red-handed caught HH and Charmaine in that house along Lagos road. To avoid embarrassing him and giving his enemies a weapon to attack him with, everything was hushed up and Charmaine was severely beaten and warned by a group of old women. All was settled then.
The house was abandoned and it seemed that was the end of that relationship but it was no to be so. A month later, a safe house was again rented for Charmaine by her brother David, this time in woodland. This become the meeting place for HH and Charmaine. This house has also been quickly abandoned after being discovered two weeks ago. Charmaine now slightly visibly pregnant and is expected to give birth in April next year.
