Zambia, Guinea battle for supremacy with a clash this evening

Zambia and Guinea will this evening wrestle to claim top spot in group D in an 18:00 hours showdown to be played at Limbe stadium in Cameroon.

Both teams are at logger heads in group D sharing the same points, but Guinea are top of the table owing to goal difference.

And Chipolopolo coach Milutin Sredojevic says this evening’s game will be a test of character for his players having won their first match against Tanzania.

Micho who was speaking during yesterday’s pre-match Press conference said the game will be won based on which side will apply the best tactics.

He said the game will be very tough because Guinea pose a greater challenge than Tanzania as they are a good team.

And Guinea National team Coach Mohamed Bangoura said he expects a tough match but tipped his charges to win using their physical strength.

Bangoura said playing the match at a different time than their first game against Namibia would not affect his side.

And Chipolopolo Captain Adrian Chama said the team is ready for the Guinea game.

Chama who returns after serving a suspension said the result from the Guinea game will give direction on the shape of Group D.

Meanwhile, Guinea beat Namibia three nil while Zambia overcame Tanzania 2-0 on match day one.

At 21:00 Hours , Tanzania will face Namibia in the last group D fixture. -znbc
