Zambia goes into camp

The Zambia National Team has gone into camp to prepare for this weekend’s CHAN final qualifiers against Zimbabwe.

The team which is from beating Botswana over the weekend will play 2013 COSAFA finalist, Zimbabwe with the first leg billed for Harare in Zimbabwe.

The Chipolopolo went into camp on Monday August 5,2013.

Coach Herve Renard has maintined the team that won the COSAFA and later on Botswana with only a few inclusion done before the return leg of the Botswana tie.

Zambia beat Botswana 2-0 on Saturday to seal a final round berth 3-1 on aggregate while Zimbabwe drew with Mauritius 1-1 at Rufaro in Harare but also qualified on a 4-1 having won the first leg 3-0.

The return leg will be played on 24 August, also at Levy Mwanawasa.

The two teams last met in the 2013 Cosafa Cup final which Zambia won 2-0 at Levy Mwanawasa.
