Sinazongwe MP not suspended

UPND leadership has denied as childish reports that the party has expelled its Sinazongwe Member of Parliament Richwell Siamunene.

The party Secretary General Winston Chibwe said that reports carried by a named daily tabloid were false and unfounded. He said his office which was in charge of all disciplinary actions and proceedings had not issued out any letter of suspension.

Chibwe said the story was a total fabrication intended to misinform people about what was going on the opposition UPND.
“The UPND is a strong party and those who are hoping to destabilize it will not manage,” Chibwe said.

He said if there was need to discipline its members, the party would do it in a systematic manner following the right channels. It was reported that the UPND had suspended the Sinazongwe MP Richwell Siamunene.

One Response to Sinazongwe MP not suspended

  1. I don’t really care about UPND. They don’t mean anything to the people in Mbala,Nchelenge or Nakonde. So whether they stay for 1yr or 20yrs in opposition they’re nothing to many Zambians.
