Residents attack Charles Chanda in Mazabuka

United Prosperous and Peaceful Zambia (UPPZ) President Charles Chanda has been attacked in Mazabuka, Southern Province over land.

Chanda says they claim there is no land in Southern Province and hence not possible to have Farm Blocks.

He says it is true government has 0% land in the Province because land is in private and customary hands.

“All prime land is in private hands. It’s worse in Mazabuka if you bring into picture Nakambala Sugar Estates,” he said.

” I have been attacked by citizens over my providing land in Mazabuka for farm blocks. They claim there is no land in Southern Province and hence not possible to have Farm Blocks. True to that yes government has 0% land in Southern Province because land is in private and customary hands. All prime land is in private hands. It’s worse in Mazabuka if you bring into picture Nakambala Sugar Estates.

“Here is what most of you from that part of the country don’t know and you are busy insulting me over. A lot of farms are on sale and currently l am the only Zambian buying such.

“The attacks are unwarranted. We are one and must remain united. Sometimes it’s a little David that is not even in the army God uses to kill the giant Goliath.”
