A traditional leader in Southern province is calling on the Patriotic Front government to come up with a dressing code for women in Zambia.
Chief Singani of the Tonga people of Choma has told the Lusaka based Radio station QFM that the government just like they did in banning the Tujilijili should also come up with a mechanism that will ensure that dressing for women regulated.

The Traditional ruler observed that indecent dressing among the women folk has worsened, a situation that has resulted in moral degradation in society. He says this situation poses a threat to efforts that aim at encouraging behaviour change in the quest to fight the spread of the deadly HIV/ AIDS.
