RB Salzburg coach hails Daka

Redbull Salzburg coach Marco Rose was full of praise for brace hero Patson Daka after guiding his team to the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa league after they beat Belgian side Club Brugge by four goals to nil and 5-2 on aggregate.

Rose said the 2017 CAF young player of the year was Sensational on the day in post match press conference.

“At half-time, I said that we should not drop the tempo. It was a terrific team performance, Patson was sensational,” Rose said.

Rose also heaped praise on the fans who he said were exceptional. The Salzburg boss is expecting more great performances from his team.

“Exceptional! Great fans! Great team! Today we have all experienced a great evening in Salzburg again. I’m proud of the team. Now we look forward to another evening of this kind,” he said.

“The fans were really tied up and excited. It feels good when the stadium is loud. These evenings in the European Cup, that has something. This is really,” he added.

Daka scored a brace while Xavier Schlager and Moanes Dabbur scored a goal apiece as Salzburg cruised to a four nil win and 5-2 on aggregate to progress to the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa league.
