Pupil sent away from class found dead

A six year old child who allegedly went missing after her teacher sent her out of class because she started crying during lessons has been found dead.

The pre-school pupil identified as Precious Kaunda of PWD compound went missing 2 weeks ago after the teacher Esther Nanyangwe chased her out of class.

However, police have warned Nanyangwe who sent away a six year old pupil from class.

Luapula Police Commanding Officer Gloria Mulele said the warn has been recorded from Nanyangwe while investigations into the death of Precious Kaunda who was found floating in a river in Kawambwa are ongoing.

Nanyangwe, a pre-school teacher was teaching the pupils and Precious started crying and disturbing other pupils.

The teacher took her out of class and she did not come back until the pupils knocked off at 16:00 hours.
