President Hakainde Hichilema has left Lusaka for the Eastern Province on a one day tour of duty.
The President is expected to visit a number of government projects including those under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) in the province as well as meeting local leadership.
Meanwhile, he is on record saying, his administration is working to leverage investment in skills development in association with the players in the private sector.
President Hichilema says for that the reason CDF bursaries are focused on skills development, crafts and artisans.
“We have made it clear that we will continue investing in our people.
“As we’ve said, the 2nd year of our administration will be dedicated to unlocking impediments for private sector development,” he says.
