Police nab Kelvin Sampa

Former Patriotic Front Kasama Member of parliament Kelvin Mutale Sampa has been arrested for obtaining money by false pretenses with intent to defraud the owner permanently.

Police Deputy Spokesperson Danny Mwale says Sampa aged 50 had between May 2021 and July 2021 at unknown dates in Lusaka obtained a sum of One Million Four Hundred Thousand Kwacha (K1,400,000)m from Maruku Selehe on pretext that he was going to help the complainant to have his goods which were impounded by the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) released.

Mwale says the suspect is in Police custody awaiting court appearance.
