PF will still win 2016 polls – Kabimba

Ruling Patriotic Front (PF) party General Secretary Wynter Kabimba says his party will still win the 2016 polls, reports Zambian Eye Correspondent.

Addressing party officials in Kabwe over the weekend, Kabimba said though the opposition has won a few by-elections, the PF still remains the strongest party in Zambia.

Kabimba said this also shows that the PF had improved the electoral system. He said the electoral system is now transparent unlike the way it was during MMD regime.

Kabimba who is also Justice Minister said President Sata must be protected from ill-attack from the opposition. He said President Michael Sata has done alot to develop Zambia the last two years plus he has been in office which he said the PF members must tell the people.

The PF strongman assured the party officials that the party will still win the 2016 elections. He dismissed the growing popularity of opposition UPND.
