President Lungu

The Central Committee of the opposition Patriotic Front (PF) has resolved that Former Republican President Edgar Lungu continues to be the former ruling party’s president.

This is notwithstanding, under the current Zambian Constitution, Lungu risks losing benefits that are accorded to the Country’s former Heads of State if he continues to be in active politics.

But PF Vice President Given Lubinda has disclosed that even during Thursday’s Central Committee meeting which Lungu chaired himself, all committee members expressed their total support that the losing republican president continues to be leader of the former ruling party.
