President Hakainde Hichilema has launched the 5th generation (5G) network at Mulungushi International Conference Center.
This makes Zambia the third country after Nigeria and South Africa.
“We’re at launch of MTN’s 5G network in Zambia, making us its 3rd country in Africa after Nigeria and South Africa,” he says.
President Hichilema said technology is important as lovers need to talk, as well as parents and their children.
He thanked the international growth centre for agreeing to work with us to unlock the economy adding that this is the reason his administration value partnerships with both local and international companies in the private sector.
