GBM refuses to give up, says HH is a total failure

Opposition Patriotic Front (PF) party presidential hopeful Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba has refused to pave way for the young generation charging that President Hakainde Hichilema (HH) and his UPND party has lamentably failed to govern as expected by the majority Zambians, reports James Banda.

Speaking on a Hot FM radio programme – Friday morning monitored by Zambian Eye, Mwamba popularly known as GBM, stated that saying President Hichilema has scored in terms of leadership would be laughable because the UPND is a total failure.

“If we say President Hichilema has scored people will laugh at us laugh because he has not done what he promised,” Mwamba said.

He noted that the UPND had introduced free education which has led to more challenges in the education sector as the Pupil-Teacher radio was bad due too over enrollment hence compromising the quality of education.

“Free education in a classroom where there are 100 pupils without desks for them to sit on,” lamented Mwamba adding that the Patriotic Front did better because the party had a vision for the governance of the country.

On the monthly fuel price reviews, Mwamba said the UPND government had copied the South Africa model, which he said had unfortunately not worked well for the Hichilema led regime.

Meanwhile Mwamba has refused to pave way for young generation to take up political leadership saying the country still need his experience to steer the country to prosperity. He has vowed to continue with his political asperations.

Mwamba said the younger generation needed older political players too because he had seen many young men who had come on the political scene but failed to form government.
