FAZ mourns Milner

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has joined the rest of the football family in mourning Michael Milner a former FAZ treasurer.

Milner, a former Nchanga Rangers chairman also served as FAZ treasurer in the 1970s under Alderman Tom Mtine and was also part of the 1995 interim Executive Committee.

The 83-year-old veteran football administrator had become a permanent feature at FAZ AGMs as a life member.

“We are deeply saddened by the death of Mr Aaron Milner who is a former FAZ Treasurer and served in various committees over the years,” says FAZ president Andrew Kamanga.

“Mr Milner remained of service to the game to the very end of his life as he regularly attended FAZ Annual General Meetings (AGMs) in his capacity as life member. He was also part of the advisory council of former football administrators that regularly provided counsel to FAZ.”
