Examination timetable shifts to December 2020

This was announced at a joint press briefing with Ministers for General Education and Information.

General Education Minister David Mabumba maintains examination classes to reopen for 2nd term on 1st June to 28th August.

1.3 million masks to be made for 1.1 children in examination classes targeting 2 per child. Each class should have at least 25 pupils to observe social distancing and hand sanitizer will be provided.

Examination timetable shifts to December 2020. So Grade 7 exams will run from 21st to 24th December, Grade 9 will be 7 to 15th December and Grade 12 will 14 to 30th December.

Some teachers will be trained to be first respondents to deal with any Covid-19 outbreak in a school.
