Eleven die on Lake Bangweulu

Eleven Seventh Day Adventist -SDA- Church Youths have drowned in Lake Bangweulu.
Northern Zambia Union Conference, President Tommy Namitondo has confirmed to ZNBC News this evening.

Dr. Namitondo said rescue operation is currently underway.

He said the youths were coming from Kashitu SDA Church to Chishi Island Church for Youth programmes.
Kashitu is at Chilubi Main Island.
