Dr. Manasseh Phiri dies

Zambia’s health guru Dr. Manasseh Phiri has died.

The 68-year-old prostate cancer campaigner and educator had been battling prostate cancer since 2014

In March 2019, government through Zambians High Commissioner to South African Emmanuel Mwamba announced Dr Phiri’s hospitalisation at Awryp Medical Center in Johannesburg.

Dr Phiri who has been a consistent HIV/ AIDS activist also Co-founded a Cancer Foundation with late Broadcaster Chanda Chimba.
