Complaint against Makeni West Wing School

Dear Editor,

Please withholding my name but please make sure this reaches the Minister of general education.

It is very shocking that a school can chase pupils from school on the first day of opening over school fees. The ministry of general education must move in and regulate the operations of private school that exploiting guardians. How can you chase pupils for not paying for a service which has not been offered yet. This move is an embarrassment to guardians as it shows like we are incompetent.

This same school owned by West Africans has also been mentally torturing pupils when parents delay to pay school by insolating these pupils from others and bundle in different class. This is an acceptable, as parents we give our personal details contacts to this school when there is a problem they must call parents because pupils don’t pay school fees, Private school must never use pupils as their debt collectors. Remember Even after we pay the school fees our children live with the embarrassment and shame that is caused by the school management.

There are three teachers at this school Mr Banda Mr Nyirenda and Mr Mutati who have been abusing pupils in this manner so not only are we withdrawing our children from this school but we want the ministry of general education to move and make sure that these unprofessional conduct by this school is stopped for the sake of maintaining integrity in our education sector. The primary focus of schools must be on delivering quality education not always on profit making.

One Response to Complaint against Makeni West Wing School

  1. Government Must intervene and pass some laws to control private schools exploitation .
If There were more Government schools few parents would take their children to These exploitative and inconsiderate private schools hence GRZ Must look into this cruel policy of chasing children from private schools within a week into opening of schools
