Cheers Supermarket fires cashier over love affair

Cheers Supermarket has fired one of its cashiers for dating a security guard.

In a letter addressed to the worker, the company human resource dismissed the worker after learning of the affair.

“This is to inform you that your contract with us here at Cheers has been brought to an end with immediate effect due to breach of company policy and procedure.

It has come to our attention that you are having an affair with one of our security guards, a situation that led to your performance being affected greatly, bear in mind that this is unethical and such unprofessional behavior is unacceptable and against company policy.

It is for this reason that management has decided to terminate your contract. Be informed that your dues will be paid on September 5 which is your leave days and gratuity accumulated,”
