Kambwili raises the NDC symbol on his right is party Secretary General Mwenya Musenge
The opposition NDC has described Humphrey Siulapwa as a disgraced political element who is below their leader Chishimba Kambwili.
In a statement responding to the comments by Siulapwa who accused Kambwili of insulting and demeaning President Edgar Lungu, NDC general secretary Mwenya Musenge said the New Generation Party (NGP) leader is a desperate politician seeking attention from a desperate regime.
Musenge said Siulapwa one of the hired guns who was given air time on TV by MMD to insult the founding president of PF Michael Sata.
“In the first place, Siulapwa is a disgraced political element whose credentials can’t match Dr. Kambwili. Its common knowledge that Siulapwa survives through treachery and soliciting monies from desperate political regimes.
“Just before the 2011 general elections, siulapwa and others were paraded by the then MMD government to mime and insult the Pf under late President Michael Sata. President Sata was demeaned and insulted by boys such as Siulapwa.
“We remember how the likes of Siulapwa, Gregory Chifire and Sunday Chanda were given airtime on national TV to insult the Pf in opposition then on a daily basis. The propaganda launched by Rupiah Banda and his cronies such as Dora siliya and Felix Mutati did not suffice,” Musenge said.
Speaking at a Media Briefing in Lusaka this on Sunday Siulapwa said it is wrong for the former Minister to insult, ridicule, demean and disrespect the head of State.
He charged that Kambwili’s ending will be worse than that of individuals the country has had due to his lack of respect and insults he has been showering on Republican President Edgar Lungu and his government.
“How can one loose respect for the President he used to praise not long ago? Mr. Kambwili has been insulting the Head of State, insulting Ministers and other Government officials with no shame,” Siulapwa stated.
