ZRA seizes Chicken pieces worth K260, 000

Zambia Revenue Authority has impounded a truck for smuggling pieces of chicken worth 260 thousand kwacha.
ZRA Corporate and Communications Manager Topsy Sikalinda says investigations have revealed that a company whose name is withheld is smuggling meat products into the country using transit fraud.
Mr. Sikalinda says the consignment was declared as transit goods going to a neighbouring country when it was destined for Zambia – Diamond TV.
