ZNBC to televise GBM’s presser on Tuesday

The National Broadcaster, is among other media houses which will televise live the press conference to be addressed by embattled United Party for National Development (UPND) Vice President Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba, better known as GBM.

The ZNBC which is mostly perceived as ruling Patriotic Front (PF) affiliated does not usually televise live press conferences even when senior government officials are making major policy pronouncements.

According to a statement released by GBM’s personal assistant Samuel Kapakula, the suspended UPND Vice President will hold a press conference on Tuesday, April 23, 2019.

GBM is expected to discuss issues surrounding his suspension in the UPND and other matters pertaining to his fallout with the opposition party.

Other media houses expected to cover live the event is Prime TV, Muvi TV and Diamond TV. Others are Hot FM Radio, Sun FM, Radio Phoenix and UNZA Radio.

The event will also be covered live by all Kasama local Radio Stations.

  1. Thanks ZNBC. don’t forget also to televise mr mwaamba leaving the ruling party 2/3years back if your ideal is to build Zambia,not covering for the sake of feuling more confusion. Opposition should be there as party of politics.

  3. We are tired of a ZNBC that is being used as propaganda tool of the dictatorial PF Government. A world of advice to Mr. Mwamba that he should only mention those things where he has solid evidence. Any lies just to satisfy his ego can get him sued and most likely lose his billions.

  4. PF ZNBC now covering defector to PF. Since when has ZNBC covered an individual in opposition during press conference. ZNBC days are numbered.
