Zimbabwe braces up for increased loadshedding, as Kariba repairs resume

The Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority ZESA has warninged of “reduced (power) generation levels” after work resumed at Kariba to repair the dam wall.

The power utility says this will result in “load curtailment” also known as power cuts.

Zimbabwe has power shortages and is currently importing from Zambia and Mozambique.
