State House

As a follow up to our statement and request to meet President Michael Chilufya Sata to day at 10.00hr.
We wish to inform you that we went to State house with my vice president Mr Charles Kafumbo and were turned back because the
president was very busy in a caucus meeting.

We were even unable to speak to his Special Assistant for Press Mr George Cheela as he was said to be attending the same meeting.
We had no option but to leave a letter asking the president if he can give us an audience as soon as possible as we want to meet him (As old
time friends)(As leaders of a political party he once associated with) and as concern citizens who are worried about his absence when the
nation is passing through a crisis.

In our letter requesting for an urgent appointment to meet him ,we have highlighted the need for us to interact on serious issues
affecting our nation.

This include
a) Continued political violence
b)The trend of councils pulling down residential houses without giving
them notice.
c)worsening poverty affecting the majority population
d)Urgent need for him to call for an inter-party dialogue meeting
e) The deliberate media black out of the opposition by ZNBC and other intimidated media houses.

It remains our sincere hope that the President will call us as we have left our phone numbers for him.
