Zambian education system should be modeled to produce thinkers

Social analyst, Laura Miti says as Zambian education standards plummeted, the country found itself without interrogation, to adopt uninformed practices than being obsession with titles.

She says Zambia has to work on its education system so that it goes back to when it produced thinkers and performers not individuals showing off papers not worth the ink on them.

“Out of the blues, Engineers prefixed their names with the corny Eng. For goodess sake Catholic clergy are going by Fr/Bishop Dr.

“Our education system is producing barely baked graduates with bloated egos made more painful by underperformance and a narrow knowledge base.

“A full education will always show one how small they are & how limited their knowledge in light of the expanse of possibility out there,” she says.
